Kim was confined to a wheelchair a few days after giving birth to her first child. Even after coming home from the hospital, she found it hard to walk. Deep down Kim knew something was wrong but didn’t know how to explain what she was going through and felt very alone. 

Shortly thereafter, Kim started to feel heaviness and bulging in her vagina and these symptoms limited her in a lot of ways. Walking became uncomfortable and picking up her kids was difficult. These symptoms essentially impacted every part of her life, even her mood, and emotions.

She found herself feeling upset and frustrated due to the lack of information about how to get better. Kim also had shame about her body, and shame because of the prolapse. She couldn’t understand why it was happening to her.

Once Kim had enough of this emotional rollercoaster ride, she decided to consult a physio. The physio came over to her house for the appointment. The physio told Kim she had a prolapse, but didn’t provide much information about it or what to do. The only advice she got was to do Kegels.

As instructed, Kim did Kegels for several months but was frustrated after not seeing any progress. She consulted other physios, and they mentioned scar tissue massage for the vaginal tear she got while giving birth. But, she was never told about the scar tissue in her pelvic floor, which is a huge reason why prolapse exists in the first place.

Just before losing hope and giving up, Kim learned about the No Kegels System.

By the end of the 12-week program, she noticed a huge improvement in her physical health and mood. When starting the program, Kim was dealing with symptoms that she rated a 7 out of 10. But by the end of the 12-weeks, she said that number went down to a 1 out of 10. 

What did she love most about the No Kegels System?

She also liked that the program helped her understand prolapse in a way she’d never understood it before. This helped her realise that she didn’t need to strengthen her pelvic floor using Kegels, she needed exercises, like hypopressives (posture and breathing techniques) to lift her organs back up in place.
